Mission
- The mission of Business Challenge is to provide an experience that demonstrates the value of business. We are committed to bridging business and education resources to provide students and educators with opportunities in North Dakota.
Vision
- To be recognized as the premier statewide learning experience that develops partnerships with businesses, education, and volunteers who devote their time and energy to Business Challenge. We desire to share this vision of entrepreneurial spirit in a proactive role in educating and inspiring North Dakota’s youth and educators.
Goals & Objectives
- Provide an entrepreneurial spirit:
- Provide a 6 day program for students
- Provide a 4 day program for educators
- Involve business participation and interaction
- Increase participation at Business Challenge:
- 10% growth of student participants
- 10% growth of educator participants
- To provide an opportunity for all statewide university students to participate in Business Challenge (i.e. UND, NDSU, Minot State)
- Increase business partnerships:
- To increase financial and in-kind contributions
- To increase Company Advisor volunteers
- Secure pertinent curriculum presenters
- Establish a marketing plan to promote Business Challenge statewide:
- Partner with other business educational organizations to promote participation
- Promotional materials portray consistency (website, brochures, CD, special report, displays)
