Sara Laske, Fargo, is a junior at Fargo North High School. She has been performing publicly since she was 11 years old. Sara has performed at the Minnesota State Fair, Trollwood Performing Arts School, and was a contestant in the Marketplace for Entrepreneurs Talent Search contest in 2007. Sara also enjoys singing at weddings. Sara taught herself how to play both guitar and piano. She started out singing, but has been writing music now for about three years. Over the years she was written over 40 songs. Sara sang at the Minot State Fair in 2006 as well as the Minnesota State Fair in 2005-2007. She has been competing with her originals since she’s been 13 at various singing competitions, including the State Farm Insurance competition where she received 1st runner up. Sara has dreams of someday being a professional songwriter and performer, but would be satisfied with song writing as her main focus. Sara’s biggest goal is to be able to reach people through her lyrics and music. “I’m a big believer that music can change people’s lives and I’m just grateful I can be apart of that.”  |
